Marketing & Content Specialist
Summary:
This is a full-time position, working up to 40 hours per week on-site. This position reports to the Marketing & Analytics Director.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Required:
• At least 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media management/content creation
• Strong passion for social media, marketing, and brand development
• Highly motivated, creative, and self-directed
• Well-organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable capturing content behind and in front of the camera; photography/videography experience
• Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software; as well as META/Later scheduling experience
Preferred:
• Extensive knowledge of marketing principles and strategies
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
• Portfolio of social media content, design work, and/or event experience
• Health care, med spa, cosmetics experience a plus
Physical Demands:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; walking, standing, bending, and/or squatting to capture video and digital images; typing, speaking, listening.
Work Environment:
This position will primarily be based at our Admin office, with travel to other offices as needed for projects. Our offices are typically fast-paced with many patients throughout the day. On rare occasions, this position may be exposed to bloodborne pathogens. Work will take place in a professional setting with a designated workstation and computer provided. Both group and independent work are expected.

- Social Media Management (40%)
- Manage social media accounts for MidState Skin Institute and MidState Aesthetics
- Plan and schedule content calendars
- Create graphics, photos, videos, and reels
- Attend provider clinics and aesthetic treatments to capture content as needed
- Marketing Support (25%)
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and newsletters
- Assist with print and digital advertising campaigns
- Create marketing materials and collateral
- Support website updates and blog content
- Work with vendors and community partners as needed
- Content Creation (20%)
- Photography and videography
- Editing short-form video content
- Organizing and maintaining marketing assets
- Collect before-and-after content
- Coordinate provider and staff features
- Events and Community Outreach (10%)
- Assist with open houses and aesthetic events
- Support community sponsorships and outreach opportunities
- Help coordinate event logistics and promotional materials
- Administrative Support (5%)
- Help maintain marketing calendars
- Organize project timelines
- Assist with miscellaneous marketing projects as assigned
